The descriptions were vivid and the characters were amazing. I seriously loved this book! All the characters, from the main characters to secondary characters, were so well-developed that I felt like I knew all of them personally. Ivy was a great character. She was strong, but willing to listen to others and let them help her when she needed them. Her life was completely turned upside-down but she never gave up, even though the situations she found herself in were horrifying. She was really easy to relate to because given her circumstances, I probably would have reacted the same way. I loved Collin. His character was just so real. He was confident and tough, but he was also sweet and willing to do everything he could to protect Ivy. He was definitely my favorite character. Oh, his back story will break your heart, so be prepared. I really liked Eric and Shannon, Ivy's friends that helped her through her changes and always had her back. They were the kind of friends I would want to have for myself! And I can't forget Al! Al was Ivy's mentor, and she was super cute. One thing I truly loved about this book - no love triangle. The story line was great, and the concept of the book was something I've never read before. There were so many twists in this book that I couldn't predict anything that happened. I was kept guessing the entire time. Books like this are a rare find, especially when not that many people know about them. So I'm spreading the word! Read this book! You won't regret it!
